Nugget is a little imp and has one of the most loving purrsonalities of all our cats, She is a beautiful warm toned, pale chocolate color that looks almost cinnamon in the light. We originally believed Nugs to be cinnamon, as she expresses the rufous gene to a much greater degree than other chocolates we have seen. Maggie, her dam, has quite a bit of cinnamon in her background, but we have been unable to trace it in Buddy, her sire’s lineage and believe the warm reddish color she exhibits to be an indication that she does indeed carry the cinnamon gene from Maggie. She is likely to produce cinnamon kittens if bred to the right male.

Nugget is a small cat, very fine boned and delicate, but well muscled with the same ruler straight profile and sweet nature as her grandmother, Haya-Ji’s Dust Devil of Darlington.
She is about a year and a half old now and is ready to be bred in the fall of 2006. We look forward to her first litter.
