We are a small cattery located just outside of Vancouver British Columbia in Canada. We have been working with the Oriental breeds, Balinese, Siamese, Oriental Shorthair and Oriental Longhair since 1982. Most of the cats we are working with today trace their lineage directly back to our first foundation cats of that time. All of our cats live in the house with us as and are part of the family. Kittens are raised underfoot and are handled daily from birth. Our cats sleep in bed with us, lounge in our laps and are never caged. Kittens are born in my bedroom and have free run of the house as soon as they are able to get around safely outside of the nest. They are introduced to children at a young age and are well adjusted to the regular routines and sounds of a typical household
We only do a small number of breedings each year so all kittens get the individual, one on one attention that they need to well grow into well socialized pets. These breeds can be quite demanding, especially as young kittens and we strive to meet their needs in every way possible. Limiting the number of breedings we do allows each kitten to get the care and attention they need to develop into healthy, happy cats that handle well in the show ring and are ideal companion animals.
We occasionally have breeder and show quality kittens available and encourage interested breeders to contact us for more details. Many of the kittens we place in pet homes are show quality and can be shown in the Alter class. If you think that you may like to show your pet, let us know so we can take that into consideration when helping to select the right kitten for you.
